Aug 12 2026 - Identical, Not Similar

The temple of Thais

Retribia

Retribia

The game as it actually played. Nothing added, nothing rebalanced, nothing modernised.

The gate of the temple of Thais
The temple gate in Thais, drawn from the world itself with the client's own sprites. Nothing here was painted for the website.

You already know this place.

The stairs. The rune shop. What waits at the bottom of the Thais sewers. You learned this map by heart twenty years ago, and it has not moved.

This is not another server

Others rebuild the world from memory and get it almost right. Almost is why they never feel like this one.

We are a few programmers who took the game apart, one measurement at a time, until every number came out the same. Not similar. The same.

The same game you played as a kid

This is not another server. It is not a remake and it is not "inspired by" anything. It is the same game, down to the last number.

Getting here took a long time and a lot of stubbornness: taking the game apart piece by piece, working out every rule it ran on, and putting it back together until the results came out identical. Not close to it. The same.

Every step weighs what it weighed. Every fight costs what it cost. Everything you remember is where you left it, waiting.

Our part is done. The rest is yours: come back, and feel again what you felt back then.

The game that raised a whole generation is still standing. Go and play it.

Nothing is for sale

No store. No coins. No boosts. Premium is the only thing you can get, and you pay for it with gold you earned in the game.

Nobody here is making money. We wanted this game back, and we want to hand it to the people who grew up with it.

The whole world

Every town. Every dungeon. Every locked door with its key somewhere.

You know which of those you can take, and which one you run from. That still works here.

See you at the temple.

Aug 12 2026 - No Pay-To-Win. Not Now, Not Ever.

You know the feeling. Three months of your life for one item — and then somebody buys the same thing in ten seconds.

That is the moment these games stopped being worth it.

What money buys in the game today
  • Store Coins — the currency you buy with money
  • Character Bazaar — buy somebody else's finished character
  • XP Boosts — level faster, by paying
  • Exercise Weapons — train your skills without playing
  • Blessings & Death Redemption — pay to undo your own death
  • Potions, runes and kegs — resupply without walking back
  • Prey Wildcards & Prey Slots — buy better loot and damage
  • Hirelings — your own banker and trader at home
  • Mounts & Outfits — cosmetics, sold by the bundle
  • House decoration and furniture — sold in kits
  • Temple Teleport — skip the walk home
  • Instant Reward Access — skip the walk to the shrine
  • Gold Pouch & Gold Converter — skip the inventory
  • Charm Expansion — more permanent bonuses, by paying
  • Name, Sex and World Change — rewrite who you were

None of it exists here. Not one line.

The only thing you can buy here is Premium, exactly as it always was, and it buys you no advantage over anyone. That is the whole list. There is no store to open, because there is nothing in it.

Here your time is your status

The deepest wallet in the world walks in with nothing. The person who put in the hours is the one everybody knows by name. That is the only currency this world has ever accepted.

Pay-to-win does not just make a game unfair. It makes it pointless. Everything arrives too fast, nothing costs anything, and the moment that used to make you shout at your screen at two in the morning never comes.

Come back for the part that was never for sale

Nobody here is building a business. We are building the evening you used to spend with the same six people, learning a hunting ground together, one level at a time, arguing about who takes the loot.

Come and feel what you felt at twelve years old: a game you play because you want to be in it, with people who are there for the same reason.

Time used to buy status. Here it still does.

Welcome home.

Aug 12 2026 - Don't Take Our Word For It. Test Us.

We are not going to argue about how faithful this is.

We would rather you tried to catch us out.

Put us to the test
  • Do the quests you remember — including the long ones, the ones that took a whole afternoon and three friends
  • Get the items you remember — including the hidden ones nobody found without being told where to look
  • Go back to your hunting ground — at the level you used to hunt it, and see whether it still hurts the same
  • Cast what you used to cast — same spells, same runes, same level requirements, same damage
  • Die the way you used to die — lose the experience you used to lose, and walk all the way back
  • Fight other players — white skull, red skull, and what an unjustified kill costs you
  • Rent the house you always wanted — paid from the depot of its town, on the day the rent falls due
  • Read the numbers — damage, capacity, skill points — check them against whatever you still have written down

All of it should behave exactly as you remember. That is the whole claim.

Every line on that list is something you can check in one evening, with your own hands, without taking anybody's word for it. That is the only kind of promise worth making.

Fire Sword
Magic Plate Armor
Demon Helmet
Crown Armor
Dragon Shield
Boots of Haste

You remember the first time you held one of these. Where you were standing. Who was with you. How long it took, and what it cost you to get there.

Go and do it again. If anything on the way behaves differently from how you remember it, we want to hear about it — that is a bug, and it gets fixed.

Aug 12 2026 - The Roads You Already Know

Nobody learned this map from a wiki.

You learned it by walking it. Wrong turns, dead ends, and the long way back because you took the wrong stairs.

Map of the world

The coastline, the rivers, the forests and the desert are the world's own. Only the names were added.

You still know the way from Thais to Venore. Where the boat leaves from, what it costs, and how long you have to sit there. You know which road you never took after dark, and the shortcut you found once and never told anybody about.

None of that is written down anywhere. It is just in you, and it has been for twenty years, waiting for somewhere to be useful again.

Rookgaardwhere everyone started, and where nobody wanted to stay
Thaisthe capital, and the sewers underneath it
Carlinthe city that broke away, and never forgave
Kazordoonthe dwarf city in the mountain: easy to walk into, hard to walk out of
Ab'Dendrielthe elves, and the tree you were not welcome under
Venoremerchants, swamp, and the boat everyone saved up for
Edronthe academy, the castle, and the hunting grounds below
Darashiathe desert city, and the long road to reach it
Port Hopethe jungle outpost, and everything in the jungle
Ankrahmunthe city of the dead, and the tombs under the sand

Ten cities and one continent, at the same distances they always were — which is the part nobody remembers until they walk them again.

It is all still there. Go and see.
